Northern Soul Makeup

The northern soul style as a whole is very natural including the makeup, hair and clothing. However when looking at the makeup specifically it is very simplistic and minimalistic. Which when doing the style of dance keeps the focus on the moves instead of the making the focus the strong makeup or hair. Some people would go more extravagant with makeup using eyeliner and eyelashes however with the naturally flowing clothing this made it still give off a natural overall look which leads to complimenting the dance style. The eyeliner used was typically a flick adding more definition to the face but not taking it away from northern soul itself.
