I created this mood board after doing my styling mood board because I want to assess what style I wanted to create for our shoots and video. When looking at all of these styles it is clear that long straight trousers and long skirts are very popular. I would want to create these styles as I think they are really flattering as well as show off the northern soul style well and clearly. I would try to pair these with a polo shirt, a jumper or a high neck top depending on what we have available to us. I think the long skirts would be good in the photo shoots as the action shots either walking in it or spinning in it would look really effective. I think using the long trousers is very important as they were such a common style both worn by men and women and really show the northern soul theme we are trying to create through these clothes.
