Male Styling

I put a mood board together focusing on male styling to get more knowledge on what they wore as well as come to a conclusion to what the models will wear. When looking at the male northern soul style alone it is clear that sweater vests and baggy trousers are very popular alongside poloshirts. These are styles I would want to focus on as these are clothes I have easier access to by going into charity or vintage shops as well as borrowing clothes from flat mates and friends. I think using cord trousers would also look really effective and fit in with this style of clothing. The look we are trying to create is very traditional to northern soul style and trying to recreate these unique outfits in the best way we can. By creating this mood board of male styling alone it has allowed me to compare the different styles that were popular at the time; allowing me to come to a conclusion of what I think would look best.
