Mood board 3 Styling

When looking into the northern soul style there is a lot of repetitive styles. Such as baggy and comfortable trousers, lose fitting shirts, sweater vests, polo t-shirts, smart trousers, braces and more. I wanted to try and create as many styles as possible so by creating this mood board I wanted to have a wide range of choice to choose from. Some of these images are from Topshops northern soul range where they displayed northern soul styled clothes in their fashion show. I also used images from northern soul dances and parties. There is a range of different color themes used such as pastel colors and also a lot of grey and black. All the clothing worn was very comfortable and easy to dance in as majority of it was loose fitting allowing a lot of movement when carrying out the style of dance as well as doing the tricks. When carrying out our shoots I will refer back to this mood board to find outfits that fit to the northern soul style of clothing.
