When looking into northern soul style of makeup and hair it is very simplistic and includes fringes sometimes. For both genders this is very natural as the hair is always natural as in not straightened or curled as well as it being left down or simply put up. With the makeup it did sometimes include eyeliner flicks or just a simple eye look with mascara. When doing makeup and hair for our models I would like to keep a very natural look to keep the focus on the clothes and the style of northern soul. Males hair is normally just brushed flat which is very old fashioned nowadays. I wouldn't want to change the hairstyles of the models as I want the shoot to look as natural as possible and not distract people from the point of the video. As well as natural being a common style in northern soul time.
