Final Presentation

This is our final presentation. For this presentation we we wanted to display our outcomes and what we learnt from this project.

1st slide

For our first slide we displayed a Northern Soul logo that we had made from our own images. We used red and blue font which is on many of the Northern Soul logo's.

2nd slide

On the seconds slide, this is where we spoke about our concept and rationale. Our concept was friendship and how Northern Soul allows people to express themselves and have a sense of belonging when being apart of this scene. We explained how after deciding our concept this meant we wanted models that had a genuine friendship so that we could see this throughout our images.

3rd slide

On the third slide we spoke about our photography. We explained how we took a range of shots such as mid shot, close up, long shot etc. 

4th slide

For our fourth slide we went into detail about where our clothing was from which mostly from our own wardrobes. We spoke about how we planned the outfits before the shoot and used complimentary colours such as yellow and purple so that the models looked good together in shots. We incorporated the Northern Soul style by using baggy jeans, sweater vests, long skirts and shirts. 

5th slide

For our fifth slide this is when we played the video. We explained that I did the editing of the video and Courtney edited the final image. Both doing half of the work each.

6th slide

On this slide we displayed images of our promotional posters.

7th slide

On this slide we displayed our final image and explained why we chose this image. This is because it reflected our concept perfectly.

8th slide

For this slide we explained what we learnt which was how to edit a video and what Northern Soul is. We also spoke about what we did well which was working well as a team, time management and forward planning.
