First Presentation-Northern Soul

This is mine and Courtney's first presentation. In this presentation we explained what our concept is, our location research and some more images from our first shoot. We wanted to show clearly our photography before taking our images further to edit them and narrow them down for our final image. This presentation includes images from our first shoot as we hadn't carried out our second shoot at this point. The front cover of the presentation is also one of our images that we took for our location research which is at Record Junkee. 

1st Page:

- On the first page we went into a brief description of what Northern Soul is and what we think are the main points that are a part of Northern Soul. These are atmosphere, music, dancing and clothing. All parts that we have looked into. 

2nd Page:

- On the second page we described our concept which is based around friendship. We have many points that build our concept which are friendship, individuality and freedom to express. We chose candid shots from our shoot for this page to show how our concept is coming into our images.

3rd Page:

- The next page is location research. We took some images from different locations before carrying out our shoot to find out locations we could consider and pre plan where to go with our models. The locations included Record Junkee, Vulgar, The Cavendish and more. 

4th, 5th & 6th Page:

- On the next 3 pages we put images from our first shoot displaying what stage we were currently at also presenting images we are proud of before carrying out a second shoot to get a wider variety of images.
