Northern Soul Shoot Edits

These are some edits from both shoots. I didn't want to over edit these images as Northern Soul was minimalistic and the focus was enjoying yourself and expressing who you are. To edit these I added grain as I thought this made the photos look slightly older and more unique. I thought this made them fit in the style of Northern Soul better. I added some contrast to the images to make them more appealing and to add more depth. I also played around with the levels to find one that worked well with each image. I didn't want to add more layers to the image or change the opacity as I wanted them to look natural like the images from the original Northern Soul scene.
