When making my posters I wanted to present what kind of images would be at the exhibition. For my first poster I used all images from the same location which is Mooch Vintage shop. As the colors are the same throughout the images they work really well together. I used this font which I found really eye catching and stood out as well as working well with the images. I wanted to use more than one image to show more of a range of images from the shoots. I think this poster works really well and is really eye catching. For my second poster I think all the colors in the shoot compliment each other really well. I wanted to put a frame on the image and thought it would look really effective with writing as a frame which does work well with this image. I thought one image looked better for this poster as this one image is quite intense with the eye contact and the serious facial expression. I also thought by repeating the date and venue around the outside makes people read the frame and remember it encouraging more people to attend the exhibition. Overall although both these posters are very different I think the colors combinations work well throughout both and would attract peoples attention when walking past them.
